SPRING

The past week has been spring break here in Utah. The weather has been anything but spring. We have made the best of it. We usually are traveling here to Utah for spring break it was a nice change to just be here. The girls are staying busy. Samantha has turned into miss social. She has found some really good friends and can't get enough of hanging out with them. Same with Shauntae. Shauntae has decided playing the flute again might be ok. Sydnee just wants to play soccer everyday. We just have to tell her she will get icecream after the game if she scores a goal and she does it.

Part of our life is on hold at the moment. The part of looking for a home. We were getting quite frustrated because we had put offers on homes and weren't hearing back from them. The money has been in the bank and we were ready. Well I think someone was looking out for us. Mike was laid off from IBM along with the 5,000 that were. He has until the end of April and then he will be added to the unemployment statistics. We are so blessed that we do not have a new mortgage to make. And blessed my parents are so willing and wanting to help us. So for now we will continue to live with them until Mike has some luck with employment. We are also grateful for the severence package he is getting.
So life as we know it...our comfort zone is changing. Who knows what the future holds. In the meantime we try to remain positive and be grateful for what we do have.
